This lovely naturally-dyed yarn from local Portland dyer Stevanie Pico reminds me of mossy forest floors and dappled sunlight filtering through treetops. I couldn’t think of putting anything on these socks but leaves, and seeded rib panels seemed the perfect interlude between falling leaves down the front of the foot and climbing vines up the back. Named after our old neighborhood in Atlanta, these socks are totally inspired by nature.
