hurricane socks

After donating all that I could personally to help hurricane victims, I decided that there couldn't be a better way for me to use one of my new designs than to raise more funds for the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, which has been totally depleted by Ike and Gustav. There are still many, many people in need of shelter and assistance. Knit a pair of Hurricane Socks in solidarity with those suffering the effects of these devastating storms and, if you can, donate directly to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.

Buy this pattern between now and Oct 15, and all of the proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to help victims of Hurricanes Ike & Gustav. Click the Buy Now button at the bottom of the page to purchase the pattern via PayPal (it will be e-mailed to you within 48 hours of purchase), or purchase it from one of our participating pdf retailers listed below. These retailers have generously volunteered to host the pattern for free until the 15th so that the full amount can be sent to the Red Cross (and you can also pick up yarn for your project at the same time - how convenient!). Thanks for helping our friends on the Gulf Coast in their hour of need!
